Holiday

Only 20 days until Christmas – December 5th

Hello! Christmas is fast approaching, like only 20 days away. That is pure madness! Stores are pretty much beyond hectic every single day now and the weather is truly getting frightful. Today’s advent calendar post features a silly Boston terrier dressed as an elf! So, don’t think about all the holiday shopping you still need to get done or how the days are still getting shorter. Just curl up with a eggnog latte (as I am currently enjoying) and look at just how much this poor Boston actually puts up with! Every time I dress him up, wrap lights around him or even just try to take a photo he just “bites the bullet” and lets me because he loves to be able to share his overload of cuteness with his fans.

On a side note, I feel like these eyes are screaming ” How many more of these do I have to pose for?” The answer is 20! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Bows, Bows and more Bows! – December 3rd

December 3rd 2013

Its December 3rd and here in this house we have most all of our holiday shopping done, so that means its wrapping time! Basil was such a good sport during this photo shoot. After, we rewarded him with plenty of treats. He was such a good boy I almost forgot he got into the cat food last night! oO

I was planing on only posting a few photos but so many came out great, I thought I would share them all! Enjoy!

FYI, these bows are not meant to stick on dogs! If you want to take your own photos like these make sure to have a happy human helper as well as a patient dog. Treats will help too!

On the 2nd day of December….

December 2nd 2013

On the 2nd day of December Basil gave to thee… The perfect Christmas tree!

December 2nd 2013

On a side note to todays Basil’s Travels advent calendar post, both of these adorable photos were taken at Little Switzerland Frasier Firs in Little Switzerland, NC. In the mountains of North Carolina we found a friendly family tree farm with hundreds of beautiful Frasier firs. It was absolutely perfect and Basil had an amazing time. Trees are reasonably priced and the land & view was worth the trip. If you’re in NC and have yet to pick out your Christmas tree please consider Little Switzerland Frasier Firs for all your tree needs! For those of you on the west coast, let me recommend Keith & Scott tree farm in North Bend, WA. When we are on the west coast this is were we always cut down our tree. They are great, have a lot of different kinds of trees, and are dog & family friendly. Hope everyone is having a get start to their holiday season and make sure to check back here everyday for more BT advent calendar photos!
