Basil presents Dog Friendly destinations – Seattle, WA

Its another Travel Tuesday and I know I said I was going to do San Antonio, Texas but I changed my mind. I’m so excited to get back to the beautiful city of Seattle I thought I would do part 1 of probably many Seattle, Washington dog friendly destinations! These are only a few of the great spots in Seattle, it really is an amazingly dog friendly place. I’ll be posting more on other Travel Tuesdays so make sure to check back!Soon we will be back on the West Coast and be going to a lot of West Coast destinations. Where do you want to see us go?

Rainy weekend can’t hold us down!

It was another Boston Terriers of Charlotte meet up but it was also another rainy spring day. We didn’t let that hold us down and joined our friends are the local dog bar! They ran around like crazies and a good dry time was had by all!

This was one of our last Charlotte meet ups before we head back west. I’m so glad it was a great one!

Today Basil is having a lazy, sleepy Sunday on the sofa. I think yesterday was a little bit too much fun!

Its another #TravelTuesday! This time our featured city is Philadelphia, PA. Beautiful, history filled city with a lot to offer. Highly recommend every location on this list. If you are looking for a family friendly, dog friendly, east coast vacation destination think Philadelphia; you will not be sorry!

Basil presents Dog Friendly destinations — Charlotte, NC

So many Basil’s Travels fan have asked for this, so here it is… Dog friendly destinations by the city! The first city we are highlighting is the Queen city, Charlotte, North Carolina! For the last 2 years we have checking out this beautiful city and here are our favorite hot spots to enjoy with your pet.

B is for Barktoberfest!

October means fall. The changing of the colors, the wearing of boots, scarfs, and hats, and Oktoberfest! In every city across the US this month there is a event celebrating our love if beer! Lucky for us Charlotte, NC has just one of those events but better!
Barktoberfest was this last Saturday October 18th at the fabulous Triple C Brewing Company in the Southend neighborhood of Charlotte.
It had copious amounts of beer, dogs in silly adorable Halloween costumes and great friends. This event hosted by Triple C Brewing Company, and Canine Cafe featured a mile walk to support cancer in humans and dogs as well as a silent auction, and doggie costume contest.
We had an amazing time. Basil made a lot if new friends and ran into some old ones. Enjoy some photos below, even though a few are a bit blurry. It just shows how much fun was had by all!

Hope everyone is having a great week and getting ready for Halloween. Do you know what your fur babies are going to be yet? Tomorrow I’ll post some last minute ideas for costumes that are super cute and super easy!
