The Southern Snowpocalypse Continues!
Another day, another few inches of snow and ice! The storm keeps on coming and although its a little hard to be snowed in, we have been having a lot of fun! Today Basil & neighbor Nelly ran around until his little toes just about froze off. While us two legged folks built an 8 foot tall snowman in the front yard!

The Southern Snowpocalypse!
The weather is a little crazy around here. Its been snowing/sleeting all day and the temp keeps on dropping. I took the snow dog out to enjoy the winter wonderland before it got too insane and his BFF Jack decided to join us. They ran around and ate as much snow as they could before the cold caught up with Basil. He is currently curled up, staying warm, and watching this southern snowpocalypse from the safety of our bed.

A weekend without football!
With the big game over and no weekend plans for the first time in months our little family decided to have a relaxing lazy weekend close to home. We have just been hanging out around the house and going on a lot of puppy walks. Enjoy a few photos from our daily twilight walk. Can you say happy dog?!

Basil’s Favorite Things – Bully Bites
Happy Friday everyone! This last week has just flown by. Last Sunday our Seattle Seahawks became Super Bowl 48 champions (!!!!) and then last Monday we welcomed a house guest for the week. Basil showered her with tons of snuggles and love and we showed her this southern city we’re currently calling home. Now that our house is quiet and our friend has gone Basil thinks he deserves all the treats for being such an amazing host. He has almost completely toppled the treat bin more than once today; but the best treats are kept in the fridge!
We discovered Bully Bites this last summer at a Boston Terrier/Boxer meet-up party. The second we walked up to the sales table
Basil’s nose was telling him that these treats were the real deal. He choose the very popular peanut butter flavor and fell in love.
Bully Bites are homemade, preservative – free dog treats made by a family with 2 great danes and an English bulldog. Basil’s party was a hoot! – Dog Bar, Charlotte
Yesterday was Basil’s 4th birthday party at his favorite place in Charlotte, The Dog Bar! On the many drag in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte you will find the coolest off-leash dog park that also serves alcohol!
Basil is always happy to hit up the Dog Bar and just meet some new friends but tonight it was about the new friends and the old. We invited our friends from Boston Terriers of Charlotte and a few fellow Seattle Seahawks fan and their pups. The weather was great! No rain and temps in the high 50’s. Basil couldn’t of had a better time and even got a few rocking gifts.
Thanks to all of our friends that stopped by and all the new friends that wished Basil a very happy birthday. Year number 4 is going to rock!

First Snow Day of the Season!
Its finally snowing here in the South and we love the snow! I bundled Basil up the best I could and went out to enjoy the beginning of this snow storm.
Now we are cuddling in the nice warm house and watching the white stuff fall. If it is snowing you your neck of the woods make sure you are staying warm and safe when on the roads.
Thanks mother nature for the best birthday present Basil could of asked for!

Happy Sunday Funday!
Sunday is my favorite day of the week. It is so relaxing and its football day! So in the spirit of being a little lazy I thought I would share the only two photos that came out from our time in at The Dog Bar last night. 
It was the ugly Christmas sweater party and pet food drive. Admission to this Saturday evening pet-fest was a bag of pet food to be donated to Second Harvest. Basil made a few new friends and had a great time running around like a mad man. We had a blast!

Meet our new HUGE friend! Duke!
Yesterday we were having lunch and the coolest dog and his owner sat down next to us. Introducing Duke, the 250 LB English mastiff. He is such a sweetie and obviously draws a lot of attention. Basil loved him and wanted play the whole time. So, say hello to Duke!

It was the best day ever!
This last Sunday may have been Basil’s favorite day ever! It was a fun filled day that started with pumpkin picking, a Boston terrier meet-up, and then a few hours at The Dog Bar to watch the Seattle Seahawks kick ass and win against the Jaguars. Basil made two new friends. Cleo, a 3 month old baby Boston who he got to run amuck with at the dog park and then a un-named older Boston that was very humpy at The Dog Bar.
It may have been the best day ever! Enjoy the photo proof of the best day ever (!!) and more travels will be coming soon!
