In this house we are huge Seattle Seahawks fans! You may have realized that if you have been to this blog before, or visited our Instagram or Twitter acounts. Its in our blood; every member of this family bleeds blue & green! So that means we have two (vert fat) 12th cats and the hardest rooting 12th dog in the game!
That being said, all of us are very excited that come this Sunday we get to watch our beloved Hawks in their 2nd Superbowl in 2 years! #rePete So much that we have been getting ready ourselves. 
Basil has been sporting his 12th dog gear every waking moment in anticipation. I also threw the referee jersey on Sebastian in hopes that maybe that will give us some better luck with the refs this weekend. (You never know! It’s only crazy if it doesn’t work!) 
So this Sunday we will be yelling and screaming for our Seattle Seahawks and hoping for them to come home with the W. Lets all hope for a clean, fair football game and let the best team win! 
In closing I’ll leave you with the famous words of Bill Nye, Rainn Wilson, Chris Pratt, Macklemore, and Katy Perry… “GO HAWKS!”

Basil is secure in his masculinity and loves to add floral into his wardrobe. This blue scarf (made by Juicy Couture. Okay, it may be mine…) is in honor of Blue Friday where ever 12th man, woman, and dog wears blue to support our Seattle Seahawks.

Happy Friday everyone! This last week has just flown by. Last Sunday our Seattle Seahawks became Super Bowl 48 champions (!!!!) and then last Monday we welcomed a house guest for the week. Basil showered her with tons of snuggles and love and we showed her this southern city we’re currently calling home. Now that our house is quiet and our friend has gone Basil thinks he deserves all the treats for being such an amazing host. He has almost completely toppled the treat bin more than once today; but the best treats are kept in the fridge!
We discovered Bully Bites this last summer at a Boston Terrier/Boxer meet-up party. The second we walked up to the sales table

Yesterday was Basil’s 4th birthday party at his favorite place in Charlotte, The Dog Bar! On the many drag in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte you will find the coolest off-leash dog park that also serves alcohol!
Basil is always happy to hit up the Dog Bar and just meet some new friends but tonight it was about the new friends and the old. We invited our friends from Boston Terriers of Charlotte and a few fellow Seattle Seahawks fan and their pups. The weather was great! No rain and temps in the high 50’s. Basil couldn’t of had a better time and even got a few rocking gifts.
Thanks to all of our friends that stopped by and all the new friends that wished Basil a very happy birthday. Year number 4 is going to rock!

In this house we are serious about our favorite sports team, the Seattle Seahawks, and Friday means Blue Friday! Every Friday before a game we wear our colors proud and Basil is not left out. 12th dog all the way!
So this weekend make sure to support one of the 4 teams that are playing for a chance at the Super Bowl. If you’re not into football you can always join the 12th man and support the Seahawks, we are fine with everyone jumping on our bandwagon! The more the merrier! Go Hawks!

Hello all! Hope everyone is having a great Christmas and got everything they wanted from Santa. Basil was very blessed and got a few bones, a Good Day Dog collar subscription, and a Seattle Seahawks themed bow tie. We are having a great day with more family and now its time to just sit back and relax. 
So, have another glass of eggnog enjoy the last couple of hours of Christmas 2013.

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. It is so relaxing and its football day! So in the spirit of being a little lazy I thought I would share the only two photos that came out from our time in at The Dog Bar last night. 
It was the ugly Christmas sweater party and pet food drive. Admission to this Saturday evening pet-fest was a bag of pet food to be donated to Second Harvest. Basil made a few new friends and had a great time running around like a mad man. We had a blast!
