Blogmas Day 16! Wordless Wednesday!

We recently got home from our annual trip to Texas. It was a ton of fun and so nice to see family.

For today’s wordless Wednesday I thought I would share a candid shot my husband took of Basil, my 4 year old niece Magnolia, and myself.

I hope you too are able to spend a little bit of time with your family this holiday season.

Sausage for everyone! Blogmas Day 6!

Last night was our first night in Austin, Texas and we started off with a bang or with a Banger!

Banger’s Sausage House and Beer Garden located on the famed Rainey Street of Austin, Texas is a hipster Mecca. 104 beers on tap, most being local, and sausage for every taste.
Walking by it may just look like an extremely busy residential neighborhood but go into almost any of these “houses” and you’ll find good food, good drink all in a dog friendly atmosphere.

Banger’s was recommended to us by the Travel Channel show Booze Travel. The host Jack Maxwell explored the Austin food scene and sold us on Banger’s

I enjoyed a classic Bratwurst while Basil had his very own “woof-wurst.”

All proceeds of Woof-wurst go to Austin Pets Alive.

All the sausages were a hit. Can you tell?!

After we enjoyed dinner we headed deeper into the beer garden. Outside you’ll find a large fully fenced off-leash dog run, more tables, and 2 fire pits.

People where friendly, the service was fast, and food was great. We highly recommend giving Banger’s a try if your in the Austin area.

Find information on Banger’s here

Where else should be go while in Texas? Let me know!

If you are in the area and need a beautiful Christmas tree make sure to check them out. Great little family farm in the hills of North Carolina. Also, there is a coupon on their website and they are dog friendly! Can’t go wrong!

We are currently super busy getting ready for our upcoming trip to Texas. I’ll be posting for Blogmas while we are there so make sure to check back daily to see all of our adventures. Also, follow me on Instagram for even more fun!

What does your house look like for the holidays? Do you get a tree? Let me know in the comments!

Until tomorrow! Xoxo

“All I want for Christmas is…” Blogmas Day 2!

This is Basil’s present face. He notices there is yet to be any gifts under the Xmas tree and wants to make sure we all got his list.
Today I’ll share with you Basil’s Christmas list. He slipped this very list to me just the other day. Can you say needy? Geez!

What Sir Basil Boston- Pants of Fancy-ville wants for Christmas

  1. All the sticks. (10 inches in length or shorter preferred)
  2. A years worth of Puppuccino from Starbucks
  3. New boots. For hiking. I hike now.
  4. A new daily meal between lunch and dinner.
  5. A subscription to Loot Pet. Loot Crate’s new upcoming monthly box for dogs.
  6. Season tickets to see the Seattle Seahawks. Well, better make that a suite because I have delicate ears and the sound at The Clink is really loud.
  7. Treats!

What do you think? Is this a good list? Has Basil been a good dog this year? What does your dog get for the holidays? Let me know!

For today enjoy our 2015 photo with Santa. We all wore our “ugly” Christmas sweaters and the pictures are adorable.
