Hello friends! Hope everyone is enjoying their Tuesday! We woke up this morning with a light dusting of snow and a very cold house. Because of this, Basil and I have been snuggled under our electric blanket watching our “stories” on YouTube.
It occurred to me that I spend a lot of my time on YouTube. A lot of my favorite shows are online only and it so easy to have on when I work. Also if you are sad or down there is so many great little “pick me ups” to rise your spirits. It really has a little bit of everything!
Today I thought I would share just a few dog related videos that always make me smile. Warning! Some of these videos contain adult language and silly adult behavior. If you have a strong opinion about either of those things or are a child, this post is not for you!

Ps. We are in the process of get Basil’s Youtube up and running. There will be a ton of new videos up soon. Until then you can head over to youtube.com/basilstravels for a few short silly Boston terrier themed videos.
So last night and today the south and the east coast was hit with arctic temps and a mix of snow and ice. Although its been pretty cold here in North Carolina its nothing compared to what is happening in the Northeast. Places like Boston are getting hit super hard and have a ton of snow.
We woke up this morning with a thick layer of ice covering everything but little to no snow. This was probably a huge hassle for those who have to commute but for us work-from-homers it was a little be of a disappointment. We want snow! Fluffy beautiful snow! Enjoy these photos of our afternoon walk while I silently sing “Let it snow” to myself…
Bonus!!!! Jack the golden retriever for added cuteness!
Stay warm my friends. Do you guys have any snow? Does your pets enjoy it? Let us know!
Today we are celebrating Basil turning the big 0-5! I can’t believe another year has come and gone and how he is still the most amazing dog! We will be spending our day being lazy, having a ton of tasty treats, and later we will be going to Petco to visit the ferrets! (Basil loves ferrets!) Also, I’ll be posting soon about Basil’s upcoming birthday party so keep an eye out!
How are you spending this happy Tuesday? Hoping all of our friends in the Northeast are staying safe and warm! We would love to see your snow pictures!
Thank you to every veteran past and present for your service! Both of Basil’s papas are veterans and we couldn’t be more proud.
Don’t forget to thank any veterans in your life and never forget the men and women who protect us everyday!
Hope your week is going well. Are you getting ready for Thanksgiving? Traveling? Let us know!
Hello Basil friends! Happy July 1st! Happy Canada day for all our friends north of the boarder!
So, almost every day we get stopped on the street by people telling us how cute Basil looks in one of his many bow ties, (He really does!) and a lot of people ask where we get them. To be honest, we have really just stumbled upon each and every one of them. Three Dog Bakery has a good selection, any local pet store, and of course Etsy. Today LeLePets is offering a special on UsagiTeam collars, bow ties, and leashes. I went ahead a
nd ordered Basil a new collar, bow tie combo. We can’t wait to get it and show it off! Head over to LeLePets now (or very soon because the sale ends on July 4th) to get your very own bow tie. Your dog can look this cute too! http://www.lelepets.com/awardpoints/index/goReferral/referrer/16814
