As you see Sebastian had to be involved in the shoot. I told him if he keeps doing that I’m going to start dressing him up everyday too. I don’t know if he is happy about that!
Yesterday Basil got to meet and play with our friends new 4 month old mini Aussie puppy. Athena is a tiny, deaf, super fluffy pup who has no fear! She jumped right in to wrestle with Basil and every other larger dog that came her way.
As well as getting to play with Athena, Basil found a few other Boston friends.
All and all it was a successful trip to the dog park. Thanks Farrah for sharing your new fluffiness with us. I think Basil & Athena will be life long friends!
Its been a pretty good Blogiversary weekend. Today is time for relaxing and doing some planning for up coming travel plans. I hope your weekend is going well! Until next time!
Hello friends! In a couple short weeks we are off back to the West Coast so today we spent visiting with friends and hitting up some of our favorite spots!
First stop, Sycamore Brewing Company. We hung out with friends, fellow pups, and some good beer. Today was the day Basil had his first taste of beer! (Dogs should not have alcohol. It can cause liver damage or death! Please do not give you dog alcohol. It was only a taste and it was given to him by a friendly stranger who only had good intentions in mind.) It was a great time!
Next we hit up Vin Master Wine Shop. For good wine, more friends, and air conditioning! Basil got to weigh himself on a vintage scale, he weighs 24 lbs, and got a ton of treats!
We are currently enjoying some wine and relaxing. Basil, Nate, the cats, and myself will cherish the remainder of our time here in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Since last years Blogpaws conference Basil has been in love with ferrets! I don’t know if it is the smell or their look but he goes crazy when ferrets are around. Every time we go to the pet store he will pull me straight to the ferret cage and cry until you pick him up so he can see his new friends! I’ve had a few people tell me I should get one and although Basil would be overjoyed I can’t say the same thing for our cats, Willow & Sebastian.
Happy Wordless or Wordy Wednesday!
Travel well, nap well, live well!
