Hey internet friends! Its been a while! How are you? How has your summer been going? Been anywhere fun? Basil and I have been super busy working on relaunching this blog (good stuff coming soon) and going on all sorts of wacky adventures.

Todays post we are going to dive into the brain of a Boston terrier. Don’t worry you won’t have the sudden urge to pee on everything and hump every warm body, unless thats your life and then, by all means, do you boo! No, we are going to count down the 10 best dog friendly cities in the United States of America – A Boston terriers opinion!

#10 San Antonio, Texas

Southern hospitality + good food + pet friendly hotels = Happy puppy!

#9 Bend, Oregon

Outdoor loves dream! Beer for you, 1 billion trees to pee on for your dog!

#8 Charlotte, North Carolina

An up and coming city growing faster than that 8 week old great dane puppy at the pet store.

#7 Austin, Texas

Great music, BBQ, and hipsters as far as the eye can see… So, pretty much heaven!

Happy 6th Birthday Basil!

Today we celebrate Basils 6th birthday. I can’t believe he is 6 years old already! We spend the day having puppy treats and going on a nice long walk around Basil’s favorite local lake. Coming this weekend we are having a little doggie party with all his little friends and his auntie Farrah is even making him homemade gourmet dog cookies!

Some exciting things are coming to Basil’s Travels this coming year. Thank you for everyone that is still a fan and make sure to check back often for new DIY, travel tips, dog friendly happenings, and more!

Something about last Christmas… Throwback! Blogmas Day 3!

Check out these photos of last years Christmas tree. We cut it down at Little Switzerland Fraser Firs in Little Switzerland, North Carolina. If you are in the area and need a beautiful Christmas tree make sure to check them out. Great little family farm in the hills of North Carolina. “All I want for Christmas is…” Blogmas Day 2!

This is Basil’s present face. He notices there is yet to be any gifts under the Xmas tree and wants to make sure we all got his list.
Today I’ll share with you Basil’s Christmas list. He slipped this very list to me just the other day. Can you say needy? Geez!

What Sir Basil Boston- Pants of Fancy-ville wants for Christmas

All the sticks. (10 inches in length or shorter preferred)
A years worth of Puppuccino from Starbucks
New boots. For hiking. I hike now.
A new daily meal between lunch and dinner.
A subscription to Loot Pet. Loot Crate’s new upcoming monthly box for dogs.
Season tickets to see the Seattle Seahawks. Well, better make that a suite because I have delicate ears and the sound at The Clink is really loud.

Right off the vine! Pumpkin Picking!

Yesterday we put on our boots and headed to our favorite pumpkin patch, The Nursery at Mount Si. With the clouds looming and the smell of rain in the air, we were pretty much playing with fire.

The rain managed to hold off (Seriously, we missed it by moments!) and we were able to pick out some great pumpkins. Check out our photos and if you are in or around the Seattle area check out The Nursery at Mount Si, worth the trip!

The biased ref! OOTD!

Today is Monday night football and our beloved Seattle Seahawks are going head to head with the Detroit Lions! Basil is prepare to referee the game in case the official refs call out. You just need to know that he may not be 100% unbiased. Let the best team win… GO HAWKS!
